Featured is a wonderful EAPG Plate in the Doric or Feather pattern.

  • EAPG stands for Early American Pattern Glass which dates from 1850 until 1914.
  • EAPG is clear or colored pressed glass made in tableware or glassware matched sets.
  • There were a few, maybe experimental, pieces made in chocolate glass.
  • Pattern: Doric is the original manufactures name. This pattern is also called Feather.
  • Color: This EAPG plate in the Doric or Feather pattern is crystal glass. Many other colors were produced.
  • Design: feather with diamonds and bead shaped in a swirl, some pieces have a scalloped edge
  • In 1903, Cambridge Glass Company produced a cordial, wine and goblet and named them number 669.
