Featured is a wonderful EAPG Bowl in the Ribbed Spiral pattern.

  • EAPG stands for Early American Pattern Glass which dates from 1850 until 1914.
  • EAPG is clear or colored pressed glass made in tableware or glassware matched sets.
  • Stunning, highly collectible ruffled vaseline bowl with sawtooth rim
  • Pattern: original name National Glass Company No. 911 or Ribbed Spiral
  • Color: EAPG Bowl in the Ribbed Spiral pattern, made in vaseline glass with white opalescent rim.
  • The opalescent color is produced by the slower cooling of the molten glass. In those parts which are thick, slow cooling caused some crystallization inside the glass.
  • Design: ribs, columns, squares, swirls, spirals
  • Also known as uranium glass, Vaseline glass glows bright green under ultraviolet light, thanks to the uranium oxide added to the glass in its molten state.
  • In natural or indoor light, Vaseline glass has a yellow or yellow-green tinge similar to the color of the old formula of Vaseline petroleum jelly, which is where its name comes from
  • This EAPG bowl in the Ribbed Spiral pattern would look great on your table.
