Featured is a wonderful EAPG Pitcher Tankard in the Pointed Jewel Pattern.

  • EAPG stands for Early American Pattern Glass which dates from 1850 until 1914.
  • EAPG is clear or colored pressed glass made in tableware or glassware matched sets.
  • Many different patterns were made with this opaque purple mosaic technique.
  • Pattern: The original manufacturers name was United States Glass Company Number 15006. This pattern is also known as Pointed Jewel.
  • Color: This Pitcher Tankard in the Pointed Jewel is made of purple slag glass. This pattern is made in other colors.
  • Design: a horizontal row of elongated diamonds with half beads on the bottom and a stretched-out diamond spear on top
  • The purple slag makes this little pitcher spectacular.
