Featured is a wonderful piece of EAPG Cruet in the Empress Pattern

  • EAPG  stands for Early American Pattern Glass which dates from 1850 until 1914.
  • EAPG is clear or colored pressed glass made in tableware or glassware matched sets.
  • One of the few early American pattern glass lines to have open salt dishes.
  • Pattern: The original manufacturers name was Riverside Glass Works Number 492 Empress.
  • Color: This EAPG Cruet in the Empress Pattern is crystal glass. This pattern was made in other colors.
  • Design: crescent arches with beads, scrolls and filigree around the base.
  • This pattern had five different sizes of kerosene lamps.
