Featured is a wonderful EAPG wine glasses in the Kings Crown or Thumbprint Pattern.

  • EAPG stands for Early American Pattern Glass which dates from 1850 until 1914.
  • EAPG is clear or colored pressed glass made in tableware or glassware matched sets.
  • Kings Crown is a huge very popular line of glassware. They even produced an orange bowl to hold your very expensive orange.
  • Pattern: The original manufacturers name is Excelsior (XLCR).  This pattern is also known as Kings Crown and Kings Thumbprint.
  • Color: These EAPG wine glasses are in the Kings Crown pattern are crystal glass. Sometimes decorated with gold, enamel flowers, etching and souvenir names.
  • Design: large, indented circles, sometimes called Thumbprints with a sawtooth ridge
  • The Adams and Company only made crystal, so this Wine Glass, Kings Crown or Thumbprint pattern was probably made there.
