  • EAPG stands for Early American Pattern Glass which dates from 1850 until 1914.
  • EAPG is clear or colored pressed glass made in tableware or glassware matched sets.
  • Pattern: Arctic was the original manufactures name. This pattern is also known as Cone.
  • Color: This EAPG Pickle Caster Insert in the Cone pattern is yellow glossy cased glass.
  • Design: bulging scales in the shape of diamonds
  • Most pieces had a glossy finish, but some had a satanized finish.
  • There were many glass factories producing beautiful pattern glass during the Victorian era.
  • This pattern was made in cased glass, white on the inside, then the color, with clear glass on the outside. The color was cased between the white and the clear.
