EAPG stands for Early American Pattern Glass which dates from 1850 until 1914.
EAPG is clear or colored pressed glass made in tableware or glassware matched sets.
The John Higbee Glass Company operated for eleven years, from 1907-1918.
Pattern: Delta was the original manufactures name. Also called Canadian Thistle.
Color: This EAPG Butter Dish in the Paneled Thistle or Delta Pattern in crystal glass.
Design: flowers, panels, medallions
Sometimes Paneled Thistle pieces were made in other colors.
Some pieces have a bee on the bottom.
This Butter Dish was also used as a Honey or Cheese Dish.
