Featured is a wonderful Carnival Glass EAPG Compote or Ice Cream Dish in the Blackberry pattern.

  • EAPG stands for Early American Pattern Glass which dates from 1850 until 1914.
  • EAPG is clear or colored pressed glass, early carnival glass is pressed glass that has a sprayed on iridescent coating.
  • This pattern is rare and almost never found in blue glass on a pedestal and as an ice cream dish. It is sometimes called a miniature compote.
  • Pattern: This pattern is known as Blackberry by Fenton.
  • Color: This is a Carnival Glass compote or Ice Cream Dish in the Blackberry pattern, blue glass with even iridescent colored spray
  • Design: The pattern is on the inside of the bowl. It consists of leaves, vines, clusters of blackberries.
